Chapter Introduction If you're in Computer Science, you're probably familiar with writing programs. Writing any computer program requires a process. You always need to follow a series of steps, such as planning the structure, creating a small part of the program, testing it, and continuing. Writing a document can be just as straightforward when you have a process to follow. Just like writing a program, there are several steps you need to go through when writing a document. Simply consider your document's purpose and audience, prepare ideas and outlines, write your first draft, and finally, edit it. That's the writing process in a nutshell. Using it will help make writing documents no more complex than writing a program.
