Welcome to COMP 1010 at the University of Manitoba. This text will show you how to set up your own computer so you can do your assignments at home. Confused about logging in to the website or the lab computers? Read on. Then you will learn how to write your first program in Java. And from here you'll learn how to write programs that do more than output "Hello World!". We'll show you how to use loops, call methods, write methods, and understand arrays.
