About

Pronouns - she/her.

I am a graduate student doing my Masters in Computer Science here at the University of Manitoba. I completed my Undergrad in the same department in Fall 2014 and spent 5 years working in industry and 3 years teaching prior to restarting my studies. My research interests are in the areas of human-computer interaction and computer science education and pedagogy. I am interested to work with curriculum design, notional machines, various pedagogical practices to support our students.

I was born and raised here in Winnipeg. I’ve been working for the department in a variety of roles since 2012 including a course director, sessional instructor, TA/Grader Coordinator, TA, and grader.

I have 2 toddlers who keep me busy and I love kickboxing, do yoga, and craft.
