Visualization and Navigation for Off-Screen Objects

Visualization and Navigation for Off-Screen Objects

In this project we are investigating various navigation and visualization techniques for off-screen objects. Off-Screen objects are common on devices with small displays. These could appear in spatial documents such as maps, text-based documents, and even hypertext. We are continuing to develop several visualization and navigation techniques for locating and querying off-screen objects. Extensive work remains to be done in this area, and particularly in providing models that capture the behavior patterns of users when interacting with off-screen objects.
