Adding text to the introduction?

I've tried applying the template to a few pages, but cannot add text to the introduction section without modifying the template itself. Anyone have any suggestions on how to modify the template and/or the topic pages to fix this problem? Chris 00:21, 20 March 2007 (CDT)
