|Introduction+ Writing is usually broken into tree categories Academic, Technical, Non-Technincal. Inside of these categories there are many different types of writings and communications. }

  • Novels
  • Newspapers
  • Poetry
  • Manuals
  • Restaurant menus
  • Journal Articles

Some of these types are easily definable into categories such as manuals are technical and poetry is non-technincal. Others are not so easily identifiable.

Certain technical documents take the from of a traditionally non-technical document, such as Why's Poignant Guide to Ruby[1]. Which is written as a story and aslo includes comic books.
